i love my city

this saturday in an effort to decompress from an out-of-control week, take advantage of the beautiful weather, and also because i have a new camera to play with, i spent most of the day wandering around the city. i literally took ONE train ride, and still managed to hit up williamsburg, the LES, dumbo, brooklyn heights, cobble hill, the williamsburg bridge, and the manhattan bridge. i was going to go for the east river bridge trifecta and walk the brooklyn bridge back, but my feet (and fears of bikes plowing me over) told me no.

so even though i have to be at work ridiculously early tomorrow, i can't go to sleep so here's a little rundown, photojournal style.

every time i see this bridge i have to sing simon & garfunkel.

dear NYC developers: please, please don't ever tear down the domino sugar plant.
