i am looking for...
an "antique" white writing desk like this...at an nice price and from somewhere i can order it online...any suggestions miss interior design or you faithful blog readers?...a pretty blue would work too and i can always paint if the style is right

design sponge did a desk round-up last year - most of the desks she shows are more modern than what you're looking for, but there may be a few ideas for places that you wouldn't have thought of originally....
