curtsey

Last Monday, we had our first Curtsey meeting. It was great fun to spend time with other creative "southern" ladies. Photos by Stacy Richardson and Kelly Cummings.

Charlton loves history, I love design, every now and then the two collide and this is a most beautiful instance...

vintage ad browser

today i found this database of vintage ads via the herman miller blog. it is such a great website for wasting some serious time browsing old advertisements from the mid 1800's to today. it's handily sorted by category and decade... these are just a few of my very faves:

love the branding...c. wonder

I love the branding of C. Wonder, a luxury retail chain full of design details and surprises.

The use of bright colors and pattern and how everything from the graphics to the store look

are cohesive in their look.

happy 2012

Charlton and I had a fun time ringing in the new year at the Campus Outreach New Year's Conference. We got to hear some amazing speakers such as John Piper, Matt Chandler and our very own Pastor Reeder. It was a wonderful way to start the New Year. Here are some fun pics from the New Year's party photo booth that my friend Stacy sat up at the conference to help promote the Briarwood Fellows.

And War Eagle! Auburn won the Chick-fil-a bowl!

camellias

These camellias grew in my friend Lauren's back yard,

are they not gorgeous!
