Charlton and I are approaching our 2 year anniversary! The month of October reminds me of wedding planning...here are some of the events that led up to the wedding...

Charlton and me selecting wedding music...this was a tough task because I was not going to come down the aisle to any song...we listened and listened and listened to many songs to find the perfect one

I had a lovely shower at the Caroline House given to me by some very lovely women with wonderful Southern hospitality

our Honeymoon shower, was hawaiian style and lots of fun

brooklyn loft wedding

I recently worked on an announcement for Isbelle and Clint, who  had a small wedding at a loft in Brooklyn. For the announcement there was a formal card along with a little story book that unfolded to tell their story.  Isbelle and Clint both have tattoos of "Meet me in Mountauk" so that was used as the cover of the booklet.

These business cards for Bits and Bobs came back from the printer today and the are so lovely. Gold letterpress in fluorescent white paper with soft peach edging.

FINALLY.

whew. almost a month later, i'm finally getting around to uploading images from Liz & Ray's wedding back on august 4th. (full disclosure: i had to archive/delete a whole bunch of files from my poor lil' computer before i could even import the pics from my camera.) once again, i didn't manage to get any photographs of the bouquets, but here are some pics of boutonnieres, the reception, and a little behind the scenes action.

the reception was in the beautiful refectory at the desmond tutu conference center, and the (lovely) event design was done by molly at glitter and rye. i just loved how each table was set up - it felt so homey to me, with stacks of books and family photographs... and the fact that the room was beautiful and reminded me of harry potter's lunchroom only helped the matter!
